Dear Patient:

I am writing to inform you that effective May 1, 2026, I will be retiring from Raleigh Ophthalmology. It has been an honor and privilege to provide care to you as a patient, over the 23 years that I have been at the practice. While it was a difficult decision, I am looking forward to retirement and spending more time with my family. The Raleigh Ophthalmology team is prepared to reschedule your appointment with one of our other ophthalmologists if you have an appointment with me after May 1, 2026. Please call us (919) 782-5400 for assistance with rescheduling any upcoming appointments.

I encourage you to continue care with one of our kind and compassionate ophthalmologists or you may seek care elsewhere. You can also check with your insurance provider directory, or the local medical society can help you find a specialist in the same subspecialty. Our team is available to assist with any questions, medical record transfers, or other support you may need as you continue your care. Your records will remain securely on file with Raleigh Ophthalmology unless you complete a formal records release authorizing transfer to the physician of your choice.
