Brow Lifts

Sagging and drooping of the eyebrows, called brow ptosis (pronounced “toe-sis”), occurs naturally with age due to weakening facial tissue in conjunction with the loss of fat. Brow ptosis can both noticeably affect one’s appearance and convey negative facial expressions of sadness or anger. There are a variety of surgical techniques used to correct brow ptosis including minimally invasive options, such as internal browpexy, a procedure that lifts the brow through an upper eyelid incision. Dr. Riske and Dr. Mettu will discuss with you the option that best addresses your cosmetic concerns and facial anatomy.
