Its been several years since Ive been to this location but I wanted to include my experience with Dr. Jordan. I had taken my 9 year old daughter to several doctors for 9 months trying to figure out what was going on with her. Once her eyes starting bulging out I took her to see Dr. Jordan. One look at her and he immediately said she has a thyroid problem. He wrote up and order for labs and told me to take her to Rex immediately. Her labs were done on a priority basis and her TSH was 0 which was critical for her. After 9 months of trying to find out what was wrong I now had an answer. No other doctor had considered her thyroid being the problem. My daughter was diagnosed with Graves Disease at the age of 9, something that is typically seen in women over 40. If not for Dr. Jordan, I dont know if we would have found this out before my daughter had suffered irreparable harm. My daughter is now 24 and doing great. Thank you Dr. Jordan for recognizing a problem ignored by many doctors.

Love this practice. They took me as an emergency walk-in 7 years ago and Ive been with them ever since. Great docs and staff. Highly recommend. 5 Stars!
I had some issues with my insurance, and one of the ladies at the front desk was very, very polite in handling it with me. This was really appreciated, especially since Ive never had to do this medical and insurance stuff on my own until recently, and hearing that your insurance wont go through is scary. We got it all worked out, and there were no more problems with it after that.A downside is that theyve forgotten to call me and schedule a surgery with me (They said they would.), causing another doctor from another practice to get irritated with me because we need that information for him to make a decision on his end.Another thing is that I never got a true answer or diagnoses to my problem. Its something that they havent seen very often, so I understand their confusion. Its very nice that theyre taking my unborn baby into consideration too, but I feel like sudden blindness in one eye is hardly a reason for me to come in three separate times for one diagnoses. I dont need a specialist to tell me what I can literally see happening (loose blood blocking my vision). I just need a solution, and no, it wont go away on its own because its been four months with no improvement.The staff has always been nice and cooperative with me. I have a phobia of things touching my eye and embarrassingly couldnt handle all of the tests that they needed me to do. Every assistant lady that Ive spoken to there has been incredibly polite and not rude with me. The one retina doctor could use a little work in his manners, but hes all right too.The few experiences that Ive had with this place have been good. Theyve handled me well as a patient.
From the first initial visit through cataract surgery in both eyes, Dr Dickens and his team were friendly and professional. Throughout the entire process, I had complete confidence that Dr Dickens and his staff knew exactly what they were doing and had my care as their number one priority. Dr Dickens personally called me later in the day of my surgery both times, and met with me the next day to be sure that I was doing well. Special mention and thanks go out to Luba, who does an excellent job with the measuring and testing. If you need cataract surgery, they dont get any better than Dr Alan Dickens.
