Well, Ive been fighting the possibility of cataract surgery for about 4 years. I had my first consultation with Dr Smith yesterday. And I must say from the moment of check-in, to Ashland taking all those photos, and measurements ,that I was very impressed. Im nervous by nature, but I must say that from the moment I arrived, all way through my exam, the staff, and especially Dr Smith put me at ease.My son and I found the experience to be extremely good. The procedure was explaind in detail, yet they all took the time to answer our questions .I know for certain just where things stand from a surgical point. Im awaiting a call from surgical scheduling, which Im hoping can be sometime in September. Its alot to take in, and decisions have to be made on my end. But again, i must say, it was a very pleasant, and extremely informative appointment. I feel so much more at ease about having this surgery.Thank you to Dr Smith, Ashland, and all the staff for your patience, and extended kindness during this initial office visit.Susan Bolen-Childress
