I was referred to Raleigh Ophthalmology for an evaluation for cataract surgery. The technician was very thorough, then I met with the eye surgeon, Dr. Patrick Laber, who also did his own evaluation of my eyes. He discussed the pros and cons of the surgery as well as my options. i, at no time felt pressured into making a decision. I would confidently recommend others to this eye practice.
Staff were all helpful, friendly and professional. The doctor answered the questions I had. There was a longer wait time than usual, but overall, it was a great experience.
My appointment was yesterday 08/05/25. The staff at check-in were very polite and helpful. I arrived early and was seen about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Bowman was very kind and informative. After careful examination, it was determined I did not need surgery at this time, although the doctor couldve scheduled me anyway just for the money, but he did not. He was very upfront with why I did not need the surgery at this time. I so appreciated his honesty. When it does come time for cataract surgery, I will be returning to this office.
