I dont usually leave reviews for places, but this office is fantastic. Its a new building (and I gotta say,, the waiting room chairs were very comfortable). The staff, from the ladies at the front desk to the assistants and the doctors were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Might be the best office visit of any kind that Ive ever been to!
Outstanding! Front desk Check--in process is smooth, OpthalAssistants are friendly and professional. Dr Dickens gives it to you straight, right between the eyes LOL.
I love Dr Smith. He is a calm soul and very easy to understand. He takes the time to listen to you and explain whatever you dont understand. I will always keep him as my doctor. As for him when you come to Raleigh ophthalmologist in clayton nc.
I visit DR BOWMAN as my ophthalmologist and I do recommend him. The problem is the Clayton office over-schedules and the wait borders on intolerable. I arrived at 10:10 for a 10:20 appointment. By 11AM I still had not been called despite being told twice by the front desk I was next. The outside waiting room was quite crowded. At 11:05 I was called back for the preliminary screening for vision, glaucoma, and dilation. That took 5-7 minutes. I was then escorted to an interior waiting room where I waited until about 12:25 when I was escorted into an exam room and told Dr Bowman would be in shortly. The interior waiting room was also quite crowded with only 1 seat available. About 3-5 minutes later the Doctor came in and examined me. He spent about 10-15 minutes answering questions and I then went to check out. Checking out took another 10 minutes because only was person was at the desk. Everyone had gone to lunch. So, a 15-20 minute appointment took over 2.5 hours. This complaint is not about Dr Bowman but rather the over-scheduling and office management.
