A native of Raleigh, Dr. Noah received his undergraduate degree in physics
for NCSU before attending
medical school at Bowman Gray. Following surgical internship, his residency
training was at the
Medical College of Virginia. After serving as the Navy's last
ophthalmologist in Vietnam, Dr. Noah
returned to Raleigh, where he has practiced for over 25 years, with special
interests in cataract
and oculoplastic surgery.

Edward J. McGrory, M.D.

Dr. McGrory completed his undergraduate studies at The College of
Charleston and medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina.
He was in family practice for one year in New Orleans before his residency
in ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Practicing in
Raleigh since 1979, Dr. McGrory has special interests in cataract and
refractive surgery.

Charles H Robinson, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Robinson completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University
and received his medical degree from Duke University. His residency
training in ophthalmology was at UNC-CH. Before returning to Raleigh he
completed a fellowship in retina at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary,
Harvard University School of Medicine. He has been in practice in Raleigh
since 1980.

M. Alan Dickens, M.D., P.C.

Dr. Dickens completed his undergraduate, medical and residency training at
the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University. During this
time, he earned All-ACC Academic honors while playing basketball for the
Demon Deacons. A native of Greenville, he started practice in Raleigh
following a fellowship in glaucoma at Emory University.

Timothy D. Jordan, M.D.
Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus
Dr. Jordan completed his undergraduate education at the University of
California, Irvine; medical education at Baylor College of Medicine and
residency at the Medical College of Virginia. His pediatric ophthalmology
fellowship was served at the James Hall Eye Center in Atlanta with Dr. Zane
Pollard. A talented pianist, Dr. Jordan performed at the opening ceremonies
of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Bobbie A. Gupta, M.D.
Cornea and External Disease, Cataract Surgery, Laser Vision Correction (including Lasik)
A Raleigh native, Dr. Gupta completed her undergraduate studies and graduated Valedictorian from North Carolina State University. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina prior to completing her residency at Duke University. Her fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery was performed at the Wilmer Institute at Johns Hopkins University under the tutelage of Dr. Walter Stark and Dr. Terrence O'Brien.

Patrick W. Laber, M.D.
Dr. Laber completed his undergraduate training at the University of Dayton and his medical training at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Wake Forest University followed by a Cornea fellowship at Wake Forest University Eye Center. Dr. Laber specializes in anterior segment surgery, including refractive surgery, corneal transplants, and cataract surgery utilizing toric and multi focal implants. During his fellowship, Dr. Laber was involved in research relating to Descemet’s Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty, DSEK.

Steven H. McKinley, M.D.
Dr. McKinley attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate and medical education. Having spent time living in Southeast Asia, Dr. McKinley was able to experience international medicine while in Singapore before returning to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston to complete his residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in glaucoma. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and traveling.

Paul S. Riske, M.D.
Dr. Riske completed his undergraduate studies at University of Richmond in Virginia. He received his medical degree and residency training in ophthalmology from Loyola University of Chicago. He completed a fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at Duke University, gaining expertise in eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Riske served in the Army as an officer and helicopter pilot.
